Student Experience expands with a new project in Móstoles

We’re proud to share that we’ve been selected for a new student residence project next to the Rey Juan Carlos University in Móstoles, Madrid! After a competitive tender process, this marks an important milestone as we continue growing our presence in Spain. This development will bring a vibrant, community-driven student living concept to life, where well-being, connection, and academic success go hand in hand.

A setting focused on lifestyle, studying and community

Student Experience Madrid Móstoles has been conceived as an integrated residential ecosystem, where the quality of shared spaces enriches the day-to-day life of the people living there.

Here’s a glimpse of what the residence will offer:

  • ~600 beds across private and shared studios
  •  Pickleball & padel courts
  •  Running circuit & gym
  •  Rooftop chill-out area
  •  Swimming pool
  •  Outdoor areas for connection & community
  •  Study areas and social hubs
  •  On-site restaurant
  •  …and much more!

Completion is expected in 2028. We’re looking forward to bringing this exciting community to life in Móstoles.

For Johan Verweij, CEO of Student Experience, this is a source of great pride:

“We are proud that Student Experience has been selected for this project in Móstoles. This development shows that our community, wellbeing and operational excellence focused approach is also compelling in Spain. Together with partners such as Rinkelberg Capital, we are building an ecosystem where living, learning and enjoying the university lifestyle converge. For The Experience Net, with our brands Student Experience, Living Experience and Classic Experience, Móstoles represents a strategic milestone in our goal of reaching 10,000 beds in Europe.”

Impact for students, academia and the city

In a high demand market, with limited availability, this development aims to help by creating more student accommodation options.

The concept responds to today’s student needs: quiet spaces for studying, environments that promote active wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging.
